Wow, what can I say?! I am an Afro-Caribbean woman, so you can imagine how curly my hair is, but the HS straighteners just glided through my hair so easily and made my hair TOTALLY straight, I was amazed. I used to use steam straighteners and I found they just tamed the frizz, but didn't straighten my hair much. I was thinking of buying GHD straighteners but I would have to save up for so long. I am so pleased with these straighteners, I can't stop using them, I'm obsessed! The adjustable heat is good for doing really curly bits and my fringe. I am so pleased!!! I keep getting random compliments from people at school, even some teachers have asked me what straighteners I use. My friends thought I'd gone to a salon! These straighteners are heaven-sent....and so cheap!

I have told all of my friends about your hair straighteners - It has to be the best £40 I have ever spent! My hair is really frizzy and curly, and it was costing me £20 at the hairdressers everytime I went out, so they are going to save me a fortune.

HS Ceramic Hair Straighteners are amazing. They straighten out hair as good as any hair straightener I have used including GHS. They heat up to very high temperatures and maintain a high temperature. They straighten hair effortlessly, leaving hair looking straight, shiny and feeling smooth. Well worth the buy and at such a bargain price. Honestly & truthfully you may think the price is unbelievable but it's not the case, it's just unbeatable.

I'm a bit of a hair straightening virgin, never having owned a pair before, but I tried some at a friend's and decided that my hair looked rather nice when straightened, so I decided to get some hair straighteners for myself.
Having done a little bit of research (including reading the reviews on this website, which were extremely helpful, by the way), I decided to buy the HS straighteners for various reasons:
I wanted 100% ceramic plates at an affordable price, and the only straighteners I could find for under £40 were HS (and the Remington S1002). I decided to go for the HS ones because: - you can return them within 14 days if you're not satisfied, so you can actually test them (!)
- they have a very long cord, which makes them easy to use

- you can adjust the temperature (80-200°C) to choose the best one for your hair type without damaging it too much

- they heat up really quickly

- their on/off switch is inside, so you can't knock it off by accident

- they look nice :-)

I'm really pleased with these straighteners. I never intended to use them very often but I actually use them nearly every time I wash my hair now because they make it feel so much nicer - it looks great (very smooth and sleek) and feels really soft. They don't pull it either, like some straighteners do. It's hard to believe that straightening your hair isn't actually supposed to be very good for it, seeing that these straighteners leave it in such a lovely condition.
Although my hair is wavy rather than curly, I have always had trouble styling it because it seems to have a mind of its own - the HS straighteners get it very nice and straight, though, and I can use them to style it too (make it flick out at the bottom, for example). My hair stays straight until the next time I wash it, unless it gets rained on in-between. And the weirdest thing is that - after using the straighteners a few times - my conditioner seems to have a better effect on my hair than it did before, leaving it smoother and sleeker after washing.
I love my hair straighteners and would recommend them to anybody - if you're thinking about getting these, don't hesitate, they really are as great as everyone says (I had my doubts but they have certainly dispelled those very quickly)!!!
